About
The School
Re^Human is dedicated to giving people from all sectors the tools and knowledge they need to heal our planet. We firmly believe that humanity's deepest and truest purpose is to be a keystone species, for a species upon which entire ecosystems depend. Indigenous civilizations around the world and throughout time have proven that we can catalyze biodiversity with our very presence, when guided by the proper values and strategies. Re^Human is an Indigenous suite of online courses designed to bring these skills and world views to the world, responsibly and effectively. We are excited to join forces with you so that together we can become a force of nature.

The Proceeds
The Re^Human School has a multi-purpose design:
1) Re-educate humanity to become a regenerative force, and 2) Generate funding for projects that are healing the earth.
100% of proceeds from Re^Human courses go to IINÁH Institute, a mechanism for the revitalization of Indigenous languages and cultures. All classes are pay-what-you-can with no one turned away for lack of funds.
Our Founder
Dr. Lyla June Johnston is an Indigenous musician, scholar, and community organizer of Diné (Navajo), Tsétsêhéstâhese (Cheyenne) and European lineages. Her multi-genre presentation style has engaged audiences across the globe towards personal, collective, and ecological healing. She blends her study of Human Ecology at Stanford, graduate work in Indigenous Pedagogy, and the traditional worldview she grew up with to inform her music, perspectives, and solutions. Her PhD research focused on the ways that pre-colonial Indigenous Nations shaped large regions of Turtle Island (aka the Americas) to produce abundant food systems for humans and non-humans. She works and teaches within an incredible, multicultural ecosystem of thinkers, doers, guest speakers, elders, and knowledge keepers.
